Here is part 2 of my thoughts regarding some of the other places I ate while in Vegas last month.
Culinary Dropout (Hard Rock)- Wow really good. I had the Prime Rib Dip and it was delicious. I tried a bite of the burger as well and it was really good. I will definitely be back.
T-Bone’s Chop House(Red Rock)- This steakhouse house was really good. I had the wedge and filet mignon. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good steakhouse off strip.
Strip House (Planet Hollywood)- A good steakhouse but not as good as T-Bone’s. It wasn’t bad just not amazing for the price.
Sugar Factory (Paris)- I will not be back at this place. Bad service and bad food. After waiting an eternity to the food it was terrible. I ordered a prosciutto pizza and it had no flavor and was over cooked. Stay away from this place!
Firefly (off strip)- This is a tapas restaurant that is not too far from Hard Rock Hotel. It was really good too. We ordered a lot of different dishes and my two favorites were the duck rolls and empanadas. This is a good place for people that like to try a lot of different items and share.
On the trip I had a lot of good meals and tried some new places I will go back to. By the end of the trip the people I was traveling with decided that all of the places we tried in Caesars properties just weren’t as good (except Earl of Sandwich). This might be because of our mediocre Planet Dailies and bad Sugar Factory experiences.

Firefly is really good. They have great ceviche and excellent Sangria. One of our always-do joints. Another perfectly outstanding restaurant is Panevino. I’m surprised it isn’t mentioned more often. It could be one of the, if not THE best restaurant in Las Vegas!
Firefly has been on my list to try for a long time. DiceRunner’s review and this comment will make sure I check it out on an upcoming trip.
I totally agree with your assessment of Sugar Factory. Horrible service and even more horrible food.
